Welcome to Guidek. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Guidek mobile application ("App"), including all associated features and services. By accessing or using Guidek, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Welcome to Guidek. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Guidek mobile application ("App"), including all associated features and services. By accessing or using Guidek, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Guidek. Individuals under the age of 13 are not permitted to register for or access the App.
Account Registration and Use
Email verification is required to register and maintain an account.
Your username is set as your real name, although you may choose to remain anonymous to other users.
Admins must remain identifiable within their assigned societies.
You may request to delete your account and personal data at any time. Deleted accounts will result in removal of associated reactions, reviews, and event participation records. However, any locations you have added will remain within Guidek.
Societies
Creation & Ownership
Societies are established by Guidek and assigned to designated owners who are responsible for their ongoing management.
One Society per City & Nationality
Each city may host only one society for each Gulf nationality to ensure clarity and avoid duplication.Admin Responsibilities
Society admins manage membership, announcements, events, forums, and location content within their assigned society. They do not have authority over societies outside their own.New Society Requests

Society owners may choose to set their societies as private. In this case:
Only the society’s name and logo/banner are visible to the public.
Full access to announcements, events, forum discussions, and other society content requires approval from an admin.
Guidek does not access, view, or monitor the content of private societies, unless required for moderation, safety, or compliance with applicable laws.
User Conduct
To keep Guidek a safe, respectful, and community-driven platform, all users are expected to follow these guidelines:
Engagement
Users may react to announcements and events, participate in forum discussions, leave reviews, submit places, and report issues.Respectful Communication
All interactions within societies, forums, reviews, and location submissions must remain respectful. Harassment, spam, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior of any kind is strictly prohibited.Responsible Contributions
When contributing content (e.g., forum posts, reviews, location submissions), users must provide accurate, truthful, and relevant information. Misleading or inappropriate contributions may be removed.Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent banning of accounts, at Guidek’s discretion.
Content Restrictions:
To maintain a safe, respectful, and community-focused environment, the following rules apply:
Prohibited Content
Content that is offensive, inappropriate, misleading, unlawful, or harmful in any way is strictly prohibited.Moderation Rights
Guidek reserves full rights to review, moderate, and remove any content or submissions at any time, with or without notice, to protect the integrity of the platform.Admin Authority
Designated society admins may independently manage content and activity within their assigned societies. This includes:Forum Moderation: Adding, editing, or removing posts, comments, or other contributions made within their society’s forum.
Location Management: Adding new locations, as well as editing or correcting details of existing locations within their city.
Content Oversight: Moderating society-specific content such as announcements, events, and member contributions.
While admins have discretion within their assigned societies, Guidek retains ultimate authority over all content and submissions across the platform and may intervene, reverse, or override admin actions where necessary to maintain community standards and platform integrity.
Commercial Activity
Unauthorized commercial promotions, advertisements, or solicitations are not permitted and will be removed.Appeals & Enforcement
Guidek’s moderation decisions are generally final. However, if you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may submit an appeal for review. Repeated or serious violations may still result in account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
Location Contributions
User Suggestions – Users may suggest new locations to help expand the community map.
Admin Management – Society admins may add, edit, or manage location details, but only within the city of their assigned society.
Final Approval – All new location submissions are subject to review, with final approval resting solely with Guidek.
Fees & Collaborations
Free to Use – Guidek is currently free of charge, with no paid features or in-app purchases.
Partnerships – To support and grow the platform, Guidek may engage in commission-based collaborations and sponsorships.

Availability
Platforms – Guidek is available on iOS and Android.
Service Reliability – While we strive to provide reliable and uninterrupted access, availability and performance cannot be guaranteed at all times.
Limitation of Liability
Guidek is available on iOS and Android platforms. While we strive for uninterrupted access, availability cannot be guaranteed.
Guidek is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from:
App usage, downtime, or technical interruptions.
User-generated content, including but not limited to harassment, offensive material, or misconduct by other users.
Third-party services or links accessed through Guidek.
While we take reasonable steps to moderate content and provide reporting tools, users are responsible for their own interactions. Guidek reserves the right to suspend, remove, or ban accounts that violate our policies, but cannot guarantee that harmful behavior will never occur.
Updates to this Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Any modifications will be communicated via email.
